The Master Plan

The Master Plan™ is the approach the Lightstand Project uses to develop, improve, and prepare written content, documents, and other project materials for use. It brings together writing, editing, design, and production so drafts, transcripts, and existing documents can move from early versions to finished formats in a way that fits what you need and how the content will be used. This approach focuses on creating content and documents that remain useful over time. Instead of producing one-time pieces that only serve a single purpose, we develop content that can be updated, adapted, and used again in different formats. For example, a document prepared for print may also be used on a website, shared as a digital file, or revised later for a different audience.

How Projects Move Across Services

Projects may begin in different places, depending on what you already have.

For example, recorded content may move from transcription into writing and content development, then into editing, design, and production as needed. Not every project requires every step, but the process allows content to move forward without restarting or duplicating effort.

When This Work Is Useful

This work is useful when content or documents need to move from one stage to another without losing clarity or consistency. It helps when recorded content needs to become usable text, when drafts need editing before they are ready for use, when written material needs visual layout, or when documents need preparation for print or distribution. It is also useful when content needs to move across formats, such as from print to web, while remaining consistent and usable over time.
