Advisory Council

The Lightstand Project convenes an advisory council to provide guidance, perspective, and subject-matter insight relevant to the organization’s mission and areas of work.

The advisory council serves in a non-governing capacity, offering informed feedback on program development, community engagement practices, and strategic considerations based on members’ experience across education, nonprofit, faith-based, and civic contexts.

Members of the advisory council do not hold fiduciary or decision-making authority. Responsibility for organizational operations, compliance, and resource management rests with the Lightstand Project’s leadership.

The Lightstand Project convenes the advisory council to support ethical practice, informed reflection, and alignment with community-informed approaches. Input from the council helps the Lightstand Project remain attentive to sector dynamics, emerging needs, and practical considerations across the communities it serves.

Participation on the advisory council is intended to support responsible guidance and constructive dialogue in alignment with the Lightstand Project’s purpose.
